History
There are a number of Museums and Galleries in the Borough of Doncaster; including the Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery situated in pleasant, enclosed gardens in the town centre. Opened in 1964 it tells the story of the Doncaster region using natural history, archaeology, local history, fine and decorative art. There is also a large and varied temporary exhibition programme throughout the year.

If that hasn't tired you out, why not pay a visit to Bawtry Paintball & Laser Fields with its 100-acres of outdoor terrain and woodland providing thrills and spills galore. Golfers will find 12 courses within the borough many of which are open to both members and non-members with very affordable green fees.
Hatfield Water Park offers canoeing, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, sub-aqua and coarse fishing as well as a superb climbing wall and aerial walkway. Many of Doncaster's sports clubs and societies encourage visitors with a shared appreciation of their sport and spectators are positively welcomed at the brand new Keepmoat Stadium home of Doncaster Rovers FC, Doncaster Lakers RLFC and Doncaster Belles WFC and Castle Park home of Doncaster RFC, the town's high flying rugby union side.
